How long have you been in business?

Wieland Chase traces its origin back to 1837, and today is recognized as one of the most efficient brass rod mills in North America.  Since July 2019 Wieland Chase has become part of the strong global Wieland Group with a continued commitment to safety, quality and customer service.

We have an extensive supply and selection of high quality brass rod, forgings and ingots, including low lead brass, environmentally friendly ECO BRASS® and ECO Bronze®, Wieland Forgeworks, and machinable, antimicrobial brass.

Do you offer any environmentally friendly products?

Our primary input material is recycled copper and copper alloyed products. Our ECO BRASS® and ECO BRONZE® silicon based copper alloys are high performance lead-free materials that are also dezincification resistant and stress corrosion cracking resistant.

What types of services do you offer?

Brass is our business and we are the industry leader in providing services beyond being the chosen source for brass rod and bar. We fulfill bulk brass orders and have casting, extrusion and finishing of machinable parts at various capacities. In addition, we provide our customers with testing solutions from our highly capable lab.

Our team is poised to assist in quality, metallurgy, machining technical services, and other aspects to support your production facility.

How many shapes of rods can you provide?

All of our products come in custom engineered shapes as well as standard hex, round, square, and/or rectangle brass bars and rods.

Where do I find material certifications and SDS sheets?

Wieland Chase provides several forms of certifications at no charge. In addition, custom certifications are available at a nominal charge. You can find more information on this here.

Are all of your products made in the U.S.A.?

Yes! Our products are American made and manufactured. As a company with global reach, Wieland Chase proudly ships our USA-made brass and bronze products to countries internationally.
