Wieland Chase, located near Montpelier, Ohio, places specific emphasis on “Service, Selection and Solutions” when supplying extruded brass rod to new and existing customers. We serve customers in various market segments, including plumbing, electrical, industrial, medical, transportation, and many more. We are the largest brass rod manufacturer in the United States and proud to supply brass rod stock to customers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Quality systems are certified to the ISO9001:2015 standard.  We market our signature leaded machinable alloy C360 as Blue Dot Rod, and our lead-free machinable alloy C693 as ECO BRASS® .

Wieland Chase produces various alloys using the ASTM specifications for product chemistry. Our brass rod is extruded to ensure the best quality brass while also saving our customers time and money.

Leaded brass rod stock in round, hexagonal, square, and rectangle configurations are available, as well as special near-net industrial shapes that are subject to review by our engineering group prior to quoting.  Our diameter size range is 0.250″-4.500″ for rounds, 0.250″-2.500″ for hexagonal, and 0.250″-2.000″ for square products.

C693 ECO BRASS® diameter sizes range from 0.375”-2.500” for rounds, and 0.437”-2.000” for hexes with other configurations and special near-net shapes available with engineering approval.

Standard length is 12 foot; however, we can produce lengths from 10-16 feet.  We package our product in bundles ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 pounds. For larger diameter requirements, we offer cast and turn billets with a range of 5.00”-10.00” in 80” lengths.

Our minimum shipment quantity is 10,000 pounds, with items in stock ordered in 1,000-pound minimums. Special alloys and products require a 5,000-pound minimum item quantity for shipment at one time.
