Wieland Chase prides itself on maintaining the highest standards when it comes to employee safety. Mandatory safety trainings are a part of the Wieland Chase culture.
Recently, we gathered all of our employees together for a safety training day, at an off-site location. We offered nine different training sessions including:
- How to deal with an active shooter
- Understanding safety in an aging workforce and keeping our body in the best shape for our labor-intensive jobs
- Mapping out and avoiding hazards in the workplace.
As serious as we take safety, we are also committed to being the best place to work and we enjoy having a little fun during our safety sessions. Everyone enjoyed Northwestern Electric’s “electrifying” demonstration on high voltage electric and Safety Consultant Jon McKanna’s correlation between high school football refereeing and refereeing safety at Wieland Chase.
