Wieland Chase Changes to WNA Face Mask Policy
Following the recommendations of both the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Wieland Chase has implemented face mask requirements for all employees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated.
For the protection of the workforce, all Wieland Chase employees must wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status, when they are within close proximity to another employee, i.e. six feet or less apart.
Masks are required in observation rooms, conference rooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and when waiting in line for a temperature screening.
All other requirements of the Wieland North America Face Mask Policy remain in effect, including:
- Social Distancing
- Temperature Screenings
- Other infection prevention measures including daily cleaning and disinfecting of all workstations and common areas.
Additionally, Wieland Chase has implemented weekend deep cleaning protocols.
Employees with COVID-19 symptoms must stay home and notify HR of their condition.
Wieland Chase will continue to follow the Wieland Return to Work Guidance, to handle quarantines and return to work timelines. As always, HR will investigate all close contact and positive cases of COVID-19 to determine if other employees are impacted.
Wieland Chase, in conjunction with Wieland North America and the COVID-19 Task Force, will continue to monitor the guidance from the CDC, the State of Ohio, and OSHA. We will also continue to actively communicate as the circumstances change and will notify employees of future changes to the Face Mask Policy and/or other COVID-19 procedures.
